Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park names new spa director
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London has appointed Elisabeth Rugani its new director of spa and wellness.
Rugani was previously director of spa and wellness at the Espa spa at the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo.
Before joining Hotel Metropole Rugani worked with La Reserve Hotel, Spa and Villas, where she was sales and spa director.
Rugani has in the past also worked as international relations manager for Spanish wellbeing destination Sha Wellness Clinic.
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel manager Flavia Daudan-Caponi said of her appointment: “It is an absolute pleasure to welcome Elisabeth.
Her extensive knowledge and experience will ensure that The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London remains a leader in the spa and wellbeing industry, setting us up for continued success.”
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park features eight treatment rooms, a relaxation area incorporating zen colour therapy, and a spa boutique.
There is also a thermal area with separate sanariums, vitality pools and amethyst crystal steam rooms for men and women, as well as experience showers in the female changing rooms.
