Men spend £146.23 a month on cosmetic products and clothes, just £55 less than women, according to a new survey.

The study from delivery site freedeliveryland.co.uk asked 540 men and women how they spend a month on fashion and beauty products.

Women continue to be the biggest spenders with an average of £2415.12 a year, which works out at £201.26 a month.

The men surveyed admitted to spending more money on post shave balms, body spray and hair products.
