Mineral House day spa to open in Newcastle in September
Next month will see the opening of a new spa and hotel in Newcastle. The Crowne Plaza Hotel will open in the city centre’s Stephenson Quarter with 251 guest bedrooms and the Mineral House day spa as well as other facilities.
The spa will house a 10m pool, spa pool, steam room, three treatment rooms and a gym with membership options. Susan Hall has been appointed spa and leisure manager, having joined from Slaley Hall in Northumberland.
A menu of signature treatments has been devised for the spa with the team at Germaine De Capuccini, the brand chosen for all skincare treatments and therapies, excluding tanning. Treatments on offer will include the Diamond Noir Facial, Silk Envelopment body wrap and Oriental Spiced Pinda massage, using warm herbal bags. There will also be a selection of treatments for men to choose from
Denise Kirk, business development area manager for Totally UK, who distributes Germaine de Capuccini in the UK, said: “We are delighted that Mineral House chose to launch using Germaine de Capuccini. We’ve worked closely with them to formulate a beautiful menu, full of wonderful therapies and signature treatments that customers will love.”
