Moddershall Oaks to add £1.5 million wellness centre

Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat in Staffordshire is building a £1.5 million onsite wellness centre.

Opening on August 10, the Made wellness centre is billed as a “first of its kind” and will aim to “redefine the way in which people view health and wellness”.

The spa said it would position Made as a lifestyle rather than a brand, offering education and positivity to clients through fitness, food and treatments such as sports recovery and hypnotherapy. Mediation workshops will also be on offer.

Made will house a boutique gym, designed to make the most of natural light and the surrounding countryside views, and an outdoor training terrace with cushioned astro turf for sunrise yoga classes and stretching.

The space will also feature the Cycling Cave, a space fitted with LED lights that follow the speed and movement of stationary performance bikes for an “immersive and exciting workout experience”; and a functional studio with a specially designed floor for weight and barre classes.

In addition to Made members guests of Moddershall Oaks will also have access to the wellness centre, which will also house a café serving healthy foods such as rainbow salads and smoothie bowls.
