National Spa Week opens to salons for first time this year

National Spa Week is open to salons for the first time this year, in a bid to get more industry professionals involved.

The UK Spa Association, which organises the initiative, decided to extend the opportunity to salons so consumers have more choice of local venues to take advantage of introductory offers and special promotions throughout the week. This year it runs from October 30–November 5.

The UKSA has joined up with brands to offer incentives for beauty businesses to take part, including uniforms provider La Beeby, which is offering every spa or salon that signs up before October 15 the chance to win therapist uniforms for their team worth £300.

Henry Hughes, business development manager at Behrens Group, which owns La Beeby, said: “We were delighted to be able to work with National Spa Week to offer this prize draw to encourage as many spas and salons to get involved. We believe by working together we can increase our industry voice to the public and get more people going to a spa or salon just like they would go to the gym.”

Spas and salons can sign up to take part by visiting the National Spa Week website here
