Natura Bissé launches spa initiative for care home workers

The Spanish skincare and spa brand is joining with UK and Ireland spa partners to thank healthcare professionals who work within cares homes, as part of its #ThanksForSavingOurSkin campaign that commences in September.
Natura Bissé is donating products to spas across the UK and Ireland, where spas can donate treatment time to healthcare workers who book in.
The brand has devised a 60-minute treatment, designed to treat sensitive, damaged and irritated skin from wearing PPE for long periods. Each spa can provide up to 20 treatments to accredited health care professionals, which must be booked in advance.
The campaign comes after a successful initiative in Spain, where the brand and its spa partners treated healthcare professionals in care homes to a spa treatment to say thank you for all their work looking after some of the most vulnerable and elderly people in the community.
“This unexpected crisis has highlighted the importance of working together to overcome obstacles. Natura Bissé continues to support business and social partnerships, joint actions and shared values as part of its ongoing commitment to society and solidarity,” says Sali Flores, MD at Natura Bissé.
“We have run a similar campaign in Spain, which was hugely appreciated and we wanted to do something for the amazing staff of the care homes here in the UK & Ireland to thank them for their tireless work,” she says.
Just some of the spas that are joining the campaign so far include, The Grove (Herts), Moreton Place (London), One Aldwych (London), Mondrian (London), Whatley Manor (Cotswolds), Grantley Hall (Yorkshire) and The Fountain (Surrey).
Eden One in Dublin and Le Jardin in Northern Ireland will also be taking part in the initiative, which launches in September.
