New Cowshed Spa to open at Soho House's The Ned London in April

A new hotel, spa and members’ club in the heart of London’s Soho will open in April 2017.

The Grade-I listed The Ned London will feature 252 bedrooms, nine restaurants, a members’ club and an extensive suite of health and leisure facilities.

The grooming areas open to the public include a subterranean Cowshed spa, offering a range of treatments including massages, facials and body wraps; a nail bar with 10 manicure and pedicure stations; and a Neville barbershop. There will also be a Cowshed shop and relaxation lounge.

In the Ned’s Club, situated at the top of the building, there will be a 65ft heated rooftop pool with terrace giving amazing views of London, canopy bar and restaurant, an underground indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hammam built with pink limestone from Devon and an 100-year-old Italian fountain at its centre. Access to this area will be for members only.

The Ned’s Club Active area will include a state-of-the-art gym, marble changing rooms and Pilates, yoga and spinning studios.

The building is being designed by Alice Lund and run by Soho House, which operates private members’ clubs, in partnership with US-based Sydell Group, which manages hotels. Many of the building’s original features from the 1920s and 1930s have been retained.

The spa director will be Shelly Hepburn, who was previously at the Bulgari.
