One Spa in Edinburgh to complete refurbishments this summer

The One Spa in Edinburgh will be completing its refurbishment this summer with the reveal of two new thermal suite experiences.

The dry salt room will offer heated reclined seating and feature a salt brick wall with colour therapy backlighting, while the quiet room is designed to be a darker, silent space for guests to switch off and snooze, featuring a log fire and starry sky effect.

The One Spa is part of the five-star Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, which has invested £2 million-pound in refurbishing the spa, offering a range of facilities such as a rooftop hydropool, beauty salon Now by One Spa and a fully equipped gym.

Spa director Mark Perkins said: “Following the launch of Now by One Spa last year and the introduction of upgraded treatment experiences with our Made For Life Organics treatment range, this latest investment will bring a contemporary offering to our guests, and ensure that we maintain our position as one of the most luxurious leisure destinations in Scotland.”

Tristan Nesbitt, general manager at Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, added: “We have heavily invested in our product and this last episode of our renovation plan for One Spa will help us to reinforce the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa as one of the leading five-star hotels in the city and position our hotel as the perfect place to stay for a luxurious spa break in Scotland.”

Glasgow-based Barr + Wray will undertake the work, including the design, build, install and maintenance.
