Outdoor wellness pop-up to open in London this autumn
London's first "wellbeing playground" will launch at Ecclestone Yards in Belgravia from September 7 to 15.
The outdoor area, named Paradise Now will feature the latest wellness trends such as bio-hacking (making changes to your lifestyle in order to change your body's biology and feel your best), nootropics (supplements that improve cognitive function), rehydration technology, urban nature bathing and touch-screen chromo-therapy (colour therapy).
Developed by multi-sensory design company Bompas & Parr, the space will feature a pink mist waterfall enriched with “energising” minerals and extracts of raspberry leaf, a meditation zone with aromatherapy-scented pink pebbles, an infrared sunset installation with live streaming of sunsets from around the world, and an electrolyte Aqua Bar serving water-based cocktails.
Bompas & Parr said, “This project is the culmination of a year of research into how an architectural space can give you the blissed out feeling of a full holiday in under an hour. Come revel in the eternal sunset with us. Eccleston Yards is an extraordinary new development for London; its dynamism is what we relish at Bompas & Parr."
