PB meets Majestic Towels
Professional Beauty speaks to Abbas Vawda, MD of Majestic Towels, about their latest news and what we can expect to see at Professional Beauty North 2013.
PB: What is the background of the company and what type of products do you offer?
AV: Majestic has a long-standing reputation for supplying products (towels, textiles and accessories) of unparalleled quality, which we have maintained and built upon throughout our 35 years of working within the industry. Our markets are constantly expanding and we currently sell a comprehensive range of hair and beauty supplies in a variety of industries including health and beauty, hairdressing, spa, healthcare, leisure, sports and even the medical forensic departments of the police force.
PB: What makes your products special over the competition?
AV: Majestic’s core values of delivering superior quality and customer service are built on strong foundations. We manufacture all our own products to ensure consistent quality through rigorous inspection procedures. Having complete control over the whole production process ensures manufacturing consistency so customers can be rest assured that if they purchase a towel, couch cover, robe or any other items from our extensive collection that they have invested their money in a hardwearing product.
PB: How cost effective are your products when introducing them into a salon?
AV: We are constantly releasing new products on to the market and to aid spas and salons with being able to take advantage of these purchases there is always an initial introductory price applied.
When investing in towels, textiles and accessories it is important to choose a product that is well made, as this is a long-term financial investment. All Majestic products are competitively priced but crucially are made to the highest specifications so customers can be assured the items will last for years without needing to be replaced, losing neither their effectiveness nor beautiful look and feel.
PB: Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their salons?
AV: Having worked closely with professional therapists for many years now we have a good understanding of their every day business needs. Our customer service line (0121 772 0936) is available for existing and potential customers to discuss requirements; we then offer advice on the most suitable materials and products for them.
We are also shortly launching a new section on our website which will help distinguish between the different materials and their unique selling points/characteristics.
On a bespoke level we also offer a logo embroidery service on our products so the customer’s brand/spa/salon can benefit from the smallest of details for a totally professional look.
PB: Why should salon owners visit your stand at the show?
AV: Trade shows offer that crucial unique opportunity to sample and feel the comprehensive range of products we manufacture, whilst experiencing the superior quality and attention to detail that we adhere to in all our ranges. It’s always lovely to have the opportunity to meet our existing customers and be introduced to so many new ones.
PB: Are you having anything new on your stand at the show?
AV: We are excited to announce that Majestic have just launched three new products which are beauty staples for all spas and salons. These are the luxurious Couch Cover, Tanning Mitt and Muslin Cloths all of which will be available to sample and purchase at Professional Beauty North.
PB: Will you be having any special offers exclusive to the show?
AV: Majestic always runs a variety of show offers; this year includes 3 standard manicure towels (30x50cm) for only £2.00 and the ever-popular 20% discount off our entire range.
