Tuesday 1 December – 1pm – Live with Georgie Smedley – “Nail techs: how to prevent contact allergies”
Nail tech allergies have been on the rise. Georgie Smedley, managing director of the Georgie Smedley Group, will explain what nail techs need to do to prevent contact allergies from occurring, covering the science behind why it happens, the risks and the key signs to look out for, as well as her top tips for working safely. There will be a 10-minute audience Q&A at the end.
Friday 4 December – 12pm – Live with Suzanne Bearne – “How to tweet your way to media coverage"
In this webinar, Suzanne Bearne, freelance journalist for the nationals including the BBC, Guardian and the I, media trainer and consultant, will be explaining how small businesses can secure press coverage (for absolutely free) through Twitter.
Bearne will explain how to utilise Twitter, build relationships with journalists through the platform and the easy ways you can be featured in publications simply by using the channel. This workshop is aimed at anyone – from salons and spas, to brands and PRs. There will be a 10-minute audience Q&A at the end.
