Athletes unwind at Rio Olympics pop-up spa

Athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympics have been unwinding at an onsite pop-up spa following their competitive events.

Global cosmetics company Procter & Gamble (P&G) has been running the pop-up spa for athletes.

Situated in the Olympic Village, the spa has been helping athletes and their families relax with a treatment menu that includes hair styling, shaves, manicures and pedicures – all showcasing P&G’s brands Covergirl, Pantene, Gillette, and Head and Shoulders.

The pop-up spa, which has had visitors including Team GB heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill and Russian diver Nadezhda Bazhina, was created to help athletes relax and escape from the pressures of competing.
