Professional Spa & Wellness meet Robert Teulings, Speaker at the PSW Convention taking place on 22-23 February at The ExCeL London to discuss 2015 trends.

 

1 - What have been the most important spa industry developments in the past few years? The most important development is that prevention care becomes more substantial in wellness business. Focus on lifestyle improvement for guests is target for our business. 2 - Which are the most pressing issues currently facing the spa & wellness industry? In Holland this is all kinds of government regulations like increase of VAT, wages and so on. 3 - What industry changes would you like to see in 2015?  A change in level playing field. We have to compete to hotels, fitness centres and more and more non-wellness companies.

4 - Why industry event such as PSW Convention are so important?
To meet Spa operators from all over the world. Share ideas and best practises.

5 - What would you like the audience to take away from your session? 
I will talk about the benefits of psychology of hospitality. Something very easy to imply if you understand the power, but very difficult if you’re not open to it.

6 -  Which sessions are you most looking forward at this year convention? 
Oh, I like all the sessions mostly. There is always something new to discover.
