QMS Medicosmetics opening treatment room at Liberty London this autumn
German skincare brand QMS Medicosmetics is launching a residency at luxury department store Liberty London this autumn, following a successful pop-up installation.
The permanent treatment room will offer facials and body treatments and form a key pillar of Liberty’s Beauty Hall offering, which has recently undergone an extensive re-model.
The brand is also looking to roll out a new UK salon and spa strategy next year. The plan includes a specialist team developing further QMS products for its skincare range and extensive training and support for new accounts.
“QMS Medicosmetics has achieved huge status in the German salon sphere, where the brand originates,” says Victoria Wade, sales director at QMS Medicosmetics. “We’re now keen to emulate a similarly successful positioning here in the UK and across the world.”
CEO Selma Terzic added: “We now have a fully trained team and head office in London and are very serious about growing our business both in the UK and globally. We see QMS Medicosmetics as a truly spa brand, and one which is most at home in the hands of professional beauty therapists. It’s in this salon and spa arena that we see the best results.”
QMS was acquired by private-equity company BlueGem Capital Partners in autumn 2017, who also bought Liberty department store in 2010. In 2016, QMS opened a Skin Bar at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.
