SBC creates new professional treatments

British brand SBC has created five new professional treatments. The new SBC signature concept has been created to go beyond the average treatment.

Every SBC treatment will encompass the "5 Phase Concept", which considers the clients' entire wellbeing, from the inside out. This process is designed to endure the client will leave feeling deeply relaxed, with mind and body rejuvenated, and inner balance restored.

A well-known "negative" hormone is cortisol; this is nicknamed the stress hormone and it is released from the adrenal glands, which are situated on the kidneys. The secretion of cortisol increases in response to psychological or physical stress and it remains in the body long after the stressful event occurs. Prolonged cortisol in the system can result in anxiety, depression, mood swings, skin breakouts, high blood pressure and weight gain or loss.

So, how can we fix this? All is not lost; the power of human touch can manipulate and release hormones within the body to alter and restore hormonal homeostasis (inner balance).

It's imperative the therapist has a deep understanding of the client’s overall needs and not just their skincare issues. SBC's techniques are designed to deliver the ultimate therapy, beginning with consultation and building an entire picture of both internal and external environments.

Founded in 1990, SBC is celebrating its 30-year anniversary in 2020. The brand was established for use in the professional sector, and sold to qualified beauty therapists and colleges. Its products are designed and tested by therapists, developed by in-house chemists in Suffolk, and enhanced by customer feedback. SBC is now sold in more than 30 countries, via TV shopping, a website and salons, and has won several awards worldwide.
