Clarins is launching two products targeted at controlling oiliness. Pore Perfecting Mattifying Foundation uses acacia gum micropearls to soak up moisture and minimise pores and fine lines, while red clay tackles excess sebum. To stop skin looking dull, the foundation also contains light-reflecting soft-focus pearls. Pore Perfecting Mattifying Kit houses an “invisible” translucent powder along with an application sponge and blotting papers made from hemp and wood pulp for touch-ups on the go.

Mineral make-up brand Jane Iredale has released the second phase of its spring colour collection, launching this month. There are two new shades of nourishing Pure Moist Lipstick with organic pomegranate and blackberry extracts: Lisa, rose beige; and Susan, cool pink. Also new is In Touch Cream Blush in Candid, a warm, rosy neutral shade. The blush can also be used on lips and eyelids.
