Thalgo UK appoints Caroline Mahe-Lea GM as Marian Harvey retires

Following Marian Harvey’s retirement, Caroline Mahe-Lea has been appointed as UK general manager for spa skincare brand Thalgo.
Mahe-Lea has worked with the Thalgo Group since 2015, when she joined as general manager of marine skincare brand Thalgo’s thalassotherapy centre in Concarneau, Brittany, France.
In 2018, she took on the management of two more Thalgo venues, Thalasso Spa les Issambres and Villa Thalgo, the Parisian flagship, where she redeveloped the treatment offer, re-organised the team and implemented new processes.
Mahe-Lea will now be based in Thalgo UK’s London office with the aim of developing the business and strengthening the brand in the UK.
Mahe-Lea said, “This is such an exciting opportunity to take the reins of this position and a real privilege to be able to evolve in such a great family-owned company as Thalgo.”
She added, “Having our president, Jean-Claude, and managing director, Bernard Sirop, put their trust in me is truly appreciated and I am relishing the challenge.
“I am passionate about our brand values and all the amazing projects and launches that will be developed in the future.
“I thank Marian for her dedication and hard work over the past 38 years and leaving us with a strong brand in the UK to take further forward."
Mahe-Lea began her career in 2003 in the hospitality industry in Paris, France, starting out as a receptionist, then sales representative and moving onto an international sales manager position.
From there, she moved to Brittany to join Miramar as sales and marketing manager, which is where she discovered a passion for thalassotherapy, wellbeing and the spa industry.
