Thwaites Hotels appoints new group spa manager and takes on Caudalie

Gemma Barratt has taken the role of group spa treatments manager at Thwaites Hotels' six spas, and taken on skincare brand Caudalie to replace Espa and Natura Bisse across the group.

The partnership will see the companies, working closely together, delivering a menu of results-driven vinotherapie treatments.

The Thwaites group was formerly known as Shire Hotels and has six spas in Kettering, Fareham, Bristol, Knutsford, Leeds and Penrith.

The new menu will feature signature treatments such as an advanced, anti-ageing Premier Cru Facial and Wine Makers Massage, which aims to recreate the ritualistic steps of the wine-making process on the body, helping to activate blood circulation and improve muscle tone.

Teams from all six of Thwaites' spas will have extensive training in Caudalie’s treatments, products and client care.

“We are delighted to partner with Thwaites Hotels & Spas and their excellent teams of spa professionals, to bring our expertise as the world’s leading Vinotherapie brand in both innovative treatments and products to Thwaites’ customers and staff,” said Tracy Brasenell, national sales manager for Caudalie.

Thwaites has a rich family heritage and has been welcoming guests for more than 30 years. The family continues to grow the business, which boasts several pubs, inns, hotels and spas.
