Trafford College awarded Habia Centre of Expertise

Manchester’s Trafford College has been named a Centre of Expertise by Habia for its Beauty Therapy Level 3 course. The college has previously been awarded Beacon Status, which is given to the top 8% of colleges in the country, as well as regularly rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.

Andrea Plimmer, head of hair, beauty and spa therapy at Trafford College, said, “I’m delighted we have HAS Centre of expertise status. This is a reflection of the high teaching standards, strong employer links and major focus on employment and progression. It’s a huge team effort and is very much dependent on the commitment and passionate tutors, students and employers.”

Assistant principal at the college, Joan Scott, said she was proud of the excellent service the college offers. Trafford College has facilities including beauty and nail salons, make-up studios and a spa, and its qualifying students are automatically enrolled on to the Habia Register of Beauty Professionals.
