Vibration plate receives medical classification

Body vibration machine Oto Flabélos has been classified a Class 2A Medical Device, making it the first machine to be recognised for use by healthcare providers. 

The Flabélos system is designed to promote fat loss by tightening and toning key areas of the body. It has been recognised as medically beneficial after clinical trials found it had a positive effect on pain perception among patients suffering with neuromuscular conditions.

Another study indicated that obese people using the machine in conjunction with a calorie restricted diet were more successful in long term weight loss and abdominal fat loss than those combining dieting with a traditional exercise routine. 

As well as paving the way for other body vibration plate machines to receive this medical classification, the move will strengthen confidence in the beauty and wellness sector, and reiterates the benefits that these services can have on consumers health.
