Who is Sam Conniff?
Known for his work in “professional rule-breaking”, Conniff will explore how you can shift mindset, challenge convention, and set bold new precedents in an increasingly uncertain marketplace. Attendees can expect actionable insights designed to be applied immediately within their salon businesses.
Conniff’s career spans creative, social impact, and behavioural science. He co-founded Bafta-winning creative agency Don’t Panic, later establishing Livity, the global social enterprise recognised with the Queen’s Award and multiple Entrepreneur of the Year honours. His best-selling book Be More Pirate sparked an international movement around positive disruption, while his collaboration with Netflix and UCL, Uncertainty Experts, became the world’s first interactive documentary proven to increase people’s ability to navigate change.
His latest venture, Hard As Nails, applies behavioural science to challenge harmful stereotypes around masculinity, and his forthcoming book The Uncertainty Toolkit is due for publication in January 2026.
