Professional Beauty speaks to Deborah Mitchell, CEO of Heaven Health & Beauty, about their latest news and what we can expect to see at Professional Beauty North 2013 .
PB: What is your most popular product and what do you think makes it popular?
DM: The most popular is Heaven's Bee Venom Mask. It's won major awards including Best New Product in the World and now Best Innovation in the World. Its organic ingredients make it a fantastic alternative to botulism injectables.
PB: What makes your products special over the competition?
DM: Clients choose Heaven because they love to find organic skincare that works, like cosmetology skincare. Heaven works with the skin and heals achieving quick results, lines smooth, eczema goes, psoriasis never seen again and oily skin turns normal in just seven days, to name a few. There's never a red face when you use Heaven.
PB: How cost effective are your products when introducing them into a salon?
DM: We offer 15 ml 'Trial 'n' Travel' of all Heaven products. These are affordable to all and make nice gifts to give.
PB: Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their salons?
DM: We offer completely free training and our treatments are sort after by celebrities and Royalty. Salons using Heaven do get more celebs through the door than others.
PB: Why should salon owners visit your stand at the show?
DM: We would love to meet all salons because they should all know about the brand even if they are not stockists. The success of Heaven has made many salons very wealthy and successful. We only stock one place in a town, we choose those very carefully. As a brand we look after salons with lots of training and special events to get clients to know Heaven is there.
PB: Are you having anything new on your stand at the show?
DM: We are having a drinks area and salons can watch me do the treatment I do to my Royal and celebrity clientele. We will also have a new boutique area for visitors to buy some of our large range and I will be offering marketing advice.
PB: Will you be having any special offers exclusive to the show?
DM: We are offering different tier offers to suit all ranges. Visitors can get Bee Sting full kit of products for £82 in a new Heaven bag. The total value of this is £260. We have limited numbers, so, first come first served. Only available at the show and only one per person.
We will also be offering a Bee Venom Mask and a Bee Venom Eyes together for £30, normally £81.95.
PB: Any other plans for the show?
DM: I'm demonstrating the famous BSF Bee Sting Facial on the Live Stage on Monday at 12,30.
PB: What tips would you give salon owners looking to introduce a new line into their salon?
DM: Is there enough client recognition for that brand to be successful quickly? Is it in consumer magazines? It's alright being the first to have something but make sure it's the best and will easily sell to help your salon be more profitable. Steer clear of brands that are widely available or cheaper on the Internet, you would be halving your turn over. Make sure you have no-one stocking your products in the same town.
