Akiri Spa by Mandara opens at the Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives

International spa operator Mandara Spa is adding the Akiri Spa by Mandara, at the Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives resort, to its global portfolio. 

The spa, which opens tomorrow, comprises six spa villas with a total of 12 treatment rooms, complete with outdoor shower and bath facilities. The spa also includes steam room, sauna and whirlpool amenities, as well as a nail salon, a hair salon and a relaxation area with views of the island. 

Fusing spa traditions from destinations such as Bali, Hawaii and Thailand, the holistically focused spa menu features a range of treatments, from Ayurveda therapies and signature Mandara body and facial treatments, to body scrubs using fresh ingredients prepared daily on the premises. 

The spa will be using British brand Elemis in its treatments, which will include the Elemis Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Facial, the Skin IQ+ Facial for Men and the Lime & Ginger Salt Glow.
