Beauty brands think pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the beauty industry has produced limited edition products to support the battle against breast cancer. Let’s have a look at what the brands have created to help charities raise money.
Luxury British spa brand Elemis supports Breast Cancer Care with Think Pink Beauty Kit, which contains Pro Collagen Lifting Treatment Neck and Bust and Pro Collagen Marine Cream, both in limited edition pink packaging, along with Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir, all beautifully presented in a pink bag. Trade price is £16.15. With this collection, Elemis has pledged a donation of £10,000 to the charity.
Darphin will donate £5 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each Limited Edition HYDRASKIN Intensive Skin-hydrating Serum sold throughout the month of October. The serum is designed to soften and hydrate skin and contains pomegranate, imperata cylindrical and elm root extracts. RRP is £41.
For each Limited Edition Pink Micro Pedi sold, Emjoi MICRO Pedi will donate £1 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. Emjoi MICRO Pedi is a truly innovative device created to smooth dry, rough and cracked skin on the feet. (RRP £39.95)
Essie has released the Essie 2012 Breast Cancer Awarness Collection consisting of four pink polish shades: I am strong, a creamy dusty-rose pink, Good morning Hope, a sheer light pink, Check up, creamy dusty-rose pink and We are in it together, a shimmery iridescent pink. Proceeds for the collection will go to the charity Future Dreams. Trade price is £4.65.
