Chiva-Som celebrates 25th anniversary with launch of Qatar location
International Health Resort Chiva-Som, is marking its 25th anniversary with a new spa location in Qatar, plus service enhancements to its Thailand resort (after a five-year refurbishment).
2020 will see the launch of Zulal Wellness Resort in Khasooma, a private coastal location in the North of Qatar, which will be managed and operated by Chiva-Som.
Meanwhile, new facilities have been added to its menu, including a functional exercise studio, and remodelled its Niranlada Medi-Spa, which offers an array of retreats to address health, the mind and body.
A variety of treatments have also been added to its menu, including physiotherapy to aid mobility and balance, and LPG Endermologie facials, which use non-invasive mechanical stimulation to treat various skin conditions. New fitness innovations include MOTR training, which involves the integration of equipment to enhance Pilates movements.
General manager of Chiva-Som, Vaipanya Kongkwanyuen, said: “In addition to our new wellness treatments and services, we’ve recently completed the renovation of the entire resort to enhance our guests’ journeys to optimal wellness.” This includes larger bedrooms for guests and complimentary butler service.
In its first venture outside of Thailand, the new resort will become the largest wellness destination in Qatar and will be the world’s first centre for Traditional Arabic Integrative Medicine (TAIM).
