How to lure clients in this Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to draw in new clientele to your business. Creating the right package or offer will put you ahead of your competitors and boost bookings.

Here’s how seven of the best in the business have tailored their offering.

Know what your clients want
Skincare brand Heaven by Deborah Mitchell is packaging up its most popular products into limited-edition Mother’s Day gift sets to lure people in. The Heavenly Hands Gift Set 1, £28, includes an Afternoon Tea Hand Wash & Hand Cream, Vanilla Pod Hand & Face Cream, and an Organic Afternoon Tea Soap. The Heavenly Hands Gift Set 2, £19, includes the Afternoon Tea Hand Wash & Hand Cream and the Baby Vanilla Pod Hand & Face Cream.

Hop on the “pop-up” bandwagon
Budapest skincare brand Omorovicza is launching an exclusive pop-up event in Urban Spa at Clifton Nurseries, London, for Mother’s Day. Taking place between March 2– 6, clients can indulge in a bespoke facial inspired by the exotic atmosphere of Budapest. The treatment aims to cleanse, detox and boost elasticity, leaving the face, neck and décolleté rejuvenated.  The treatment is 30-minutes long and suitable for all skin types. Booking fee is £25.

Play on your therapists' strengths
South Kensington-based Gazelli House is making use of its therapists' expert knowledge to host educational Skincare Masterclasses for Two. Marketing it as an ideal mother-daughter activity, the one-hour class covers everything from understanding your skin to how to keep it in an optimum condition. Tickets costs £20 for two.

Create bespoke treatments
For mums in need of a bit of pampering, beauty giant Aveda has created the Stress Fix Full Body Massage. The treatment uses a combination of muscle and mind-soothing techniques including Swedish and deep tissue massage, acupressure, foot reflexology and guided meditation. The massage costs £89 for 60-minutes.

Try to offer variety
Champneys is luring customers in with a broad range of offerings, including a Mother and Daughter Day and Stay, exclusive gift sets, spa evening with full use of facilities and gift vouchers. For more information and prices on each of these packages visit the Champneys website.

Be creative in your packages
Mill Wheel Spa in Staffordshire is encouraging bookings with exclusive half-day and full-day spa packages. The World’s Best Mum full-day package, £99, includes champagne, robe and towel, 25-minute Beach Hut Treatment, Cleopatra Body Treatment, Heaven Mini Facial, lunch and full use of the spa facilities.

Don’t limit your offering to just spa treatments

The Day Spa Especially for Mum Spa Day, £89, includes full use of the Heat and Ice Experiences and leisure club facilities, two-course buffet lunch and The Day Spa Sampler – a 50-minute treatment combining an express facial followed by a back, neck and shoulder massage.
