Make-up artist Pat McGrath recognised in New Year Honours

Make-up artist Pat McGrath has been recognised in the Queen's New Year Honours list 2014 and will be awarded an MBE.
Despite being self-taught, with no formal training, London-based MUA McGrath has worked her way up, directing the beauty looks for countless catwalks and editorial shoots. She regularly directs advertising campaigns for brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada and Calvin Klein.
She has also worked with celebrities including Madonna, Scarlett Johansson and Oprah Winfrey.
In 2007 Vogue magazine named her "The most influential make-up artist in the world",
She is to be awarded an MBE for her services to the fashion and beauty industry in the New Year Honours List.
