The Garage appoints Elaine Riley as spa manager

Brand new Teesdale-based spa The Garage has appointed Elaine Riley as its spa manager.

Riley will bring to the team more than 18 years experience from across the spa industry and has worked at prestigious UK and international spas, as well as on board Steiner cruise ships.

At The Garage, Riley will oversee a team of six therapists, who will deliver treatments using the spa’s own in-house product formulations, developed by The Natural Spa Factory. In addition, The Garage has also partnered with Jessica, Lava Shells, and Caci to offer clients a holistic programme of treatments.

“I am excited to be involved from concept in such an exciting new spa,” Riley commented on her appointment. “With our own brand of products, it also gives us the flexibility to deliver a really bespoke service which is tailored to guests' requirements.

She added: “I’m looking forward to bringing everything together for our opening later in November in time for the busy Christmas period.”
