The South Kensington Club opens with Comfort Zone spa

Private members’ club the South Kensington Club (SKC) has opened in London. Facilities at the club include a spa, offering Comfort Zone treatments and products.

Health and fitness facilities at the club include two spa treatment rooms, a studio for yoga and pilates classes and a fitness centre.

The wet area the South Kensington Club, the Bathhouse, is scheduled to open later this summer.

The area features a Russian banya, a Turkish hammam with a plunge pool, several relaxation areas and a watsu pool, complete with a watsu master to guide guests through the experience.

Treatments at the SKC are centred on the five senses and include a range of options for the face and body, from facials to purify, rebalance and hydrate the skin, to a firming body treatment.

Massage options include deep tissue, Swedish, sports, reflexology, aromatherapy and osteopathy massages, to mention just a few.

Also on offer is the Skin Regimen Longevity Programme. This wellness programme from the Italian skincare brand takes an inside-out approach to health, wellness and beauty, incorporating the nutricosmeceutical Skin Regimen products and treatments and also looking at nutrition.

Comfort Zone founder Dr Davide Bollati said of the partnership with the SKC: "The South Kensington Club and Comfort Zone share a passion for the convergence of science and experience as key elements of a memorable, highly performing spa offering."

The SKC also offers beauty and salons services, from manicures and pedicures, to blow-dries and barber services.

Among the other facilities at the SKC is a club room and cocktail bar, a library, a terrace and a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine.
