Skin Rocks Pro opens first permanent facialist training academy in London

Published 17th Mar 2026

Skin Rocks Pro has opened its first permanent facialist training academy in London, creating a dedicated education hub for skincare professionals and beauty therapists.

Located in Farringdon, the Skin Rocks Pro Academy will deliver the brand’s Babtac and Cibtac-endorsed professional training in a permanent setting.

The academy officially opened today (March 17) with an immersion day for facialists from across the UK.

The opening followed the creation of Skin Rocks Pro facial protocols in the summer, and the official launch of Skin Rocks Pro in September 2025 via a series of seven training days held nationwide, which trained hundreds of skincare professionals.

New facialist training hub in London

The academy has been designed as a hands-on training environment aimed at helping skin professionals develop their skills, confidence and business knowledge.

Skin Rocks Pro said the space supported its “by facialists, for facialists” mission and was created to empower professionals to build their expertise in the fast-growing skincare sector.

Caroline Hirons, facialist and founder of Skin Rocks Pro, said the opening marked a significant milestone for the brand.

“I can’t believe we’re opening our first ever Skin Rocks Pro Academy – it means a world to me. I started out as a facialist myself, so creating a space to support and champion other skin professionals feels incredibly special,” she said.

Hirons added that launching the professional brand in 2025 had been a major step, but establishing a permanent academy would allow the company to train and connect with facialists on a deeper level.

“The academy is all about giving both the facialists of today and tomorrow the skills, confidence and business know-how to succeed and thrive in this fast-paced industry,” she said.

Industry support for professional skincare education

Lesley Blair, chief executive and chair of Babtac and Cibtac, said the academy would provide a valuable new training destination for therapists.

“Their outstanding Cibtac-endorsed training is comprehensive and hands-on, and their new academy provides an excellent and easily accessible training facility in central London for therapists to advance their skillset,” she said.

Industry figures also welcomed the new training hub.

Millie Kendall OBE, chief executive of the British Beauty Council, said Hirons had long been recognised for her support of beauty professionals.

“Her dedication to the professionals working across beauty in our industry has been the backbone of her personal brand and Skin Rocks," she added.

Training dates for March and April are now available through the Skin Rocks Pro website.
