Habia invites industry input on training standards
Salon owners and industry professionals are being invited to have their say in Habia’s on going review of the National Occupational Standards for beauty, nails and spa.
The development of new standards began back in February, and Habia hosted a number of meetings with industry expert groups during April, May and June. In this next stage of the process, the industry body is seeking the views of a wide range of professionals across all corners of the industry.
Therapists, nail techs, aestheticians and salon owners can have their say by completing Habia’s online consultation survey in either beauty and spa therapy, nail services, or advanced treatments.
Tiffany Tarrant, development manager at Habia, said the organisation had been overwhelmed by the support of the industry. She added, “The online survey is the next step in the process and it is extremely important that we get feedback from as many representatives from the beauty, nail and spa industries as possible.”
The survey will remain open until Friday October 3, and the next stage of the process will include a series of focus groups around the UK.
