SpaFinder Wellness appoint chief brand officer

Spa media and marketing brand SpaFinder Wellness has appointed Mia Kyricos to the newly created position of chief brand officer.

Kyricos will lead branding initiatives and oversee various areas of the company, including marketing and advertising, consumer relations and digital strategy. In this capacity she will be responsible for developing the brand’s new global strategy for growth, which will roll out later this year.

SpaFinder Wellness chief executive Pete Ellis said he was excited about the experience and knowledge that Kyricos brings with her to the role. “A huge plus is the respect she has earned from executives around the world, and there is no doubt that she will be a tremendous asset,” he added.

Kyricos joins the brand from spa consultancy firm Kyricos & Associates, at which she was president. She previously worked for several spa brands under the Starwood Hotels and Resorts company.

Kyricos said of her appointment, “The chance to work with an extremely gifted team to fully develop its brand promise is an exceptional opportunity.”
