Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara opens in Qatar
Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara has opened in Qatar. The 141-room resort features an Anantara Spa, among other facilities.
The spa comprises 14 treatment rooms, including four single and four double over-water rooms, separate hammam and whirlpool facilities for men and women, an over-water relaxation lounge and an indoor botanical garden.
Other amenities include two consultation rooms, a hydro pool for women only, male and female salon areas and an oxygen fern room. The spa offering also include the Balance Wellness Centre, with a focus on wellbeing.
The wellness centre provides detox, weight management, relaxation, yoga and other retreats, as well as offering a healthy spa cuisine and fitness classes.
Among the other facilities at the resort are eight dining outlets, a private marine and extensive water sports amenities. The water sports on offer include kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wakeboarding, water skiing and jet skiing.
Guests can also play tennis and beach volleyball at the resort, which also features an entertainment centre with a cinema, a bowling alley and a nine-hole putting golf course.
