Beyoncé and Zac Efron named most inspiring celebrities for body positivity
Certain celebrities are playing a big part in inspiring body positivity in Brits during the coronavirus pandemic, with singer Beyoncé and actor Zac Efron coming out top as ambassadors for helping people feel confident in the skin they’re in.
Beyoncé topped the list of celebrities who inspire body positivity for British women in yogurt brand Activia’s latest survey, followed by I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2020 winner Giovanna Fletcher, tennis pro Serena Williams and singer Adele.
Meanwhile, Zac Efron topped the list for helping men feel body confident, with other celebrities inspiring them including The Body Coach Joe Wicks, actor Chris Pratt and singer Olly Murs, the report found.

Daly, who has teamed up with Activia, said: "We’ve given up enough over the past year, so we need to be kinder to ourselves and look at all of the ways that we can improve our overall wellbeing.”
The survey also asked 2,000 British adults what they like most about themselves, with legs, bums and hands the part of their bodies they love the most, with a quarter stating they wouldn’t change a thing about how they look.
On a scale of one to 10, 65% of Brits rated themselves in the top half when it comes to body confidence and many are planning to improve their wellbeing this year, with 50% intending to exercise regularly while 30% plan to eat better, the report found. This isn’t surprising as Google searches for “self-care” have soared 250% during coronavirus.
A quarter of Brits will also be focusing on their gut health in 2021, with 50% of those believing it can influence their emotions.
