Harrods reveals new Beauty Events and Services space
Opening on the 25th January, the lower ground floor of London department store Harrods will house a Beauty Events and Services space, forming the final phase of its beauty business development.
The new area includes 14 treatment rooms where clients can receive consultations and treatments exclusive to the Knightsbridge store.
Clé de Peau Beauté and Decorté are among some of the luxury brands offering treatments and facials in the new “Beauty Events & Services” area.
Dior and Chanel are also launching bespoke treatment rooms within the lower ground floor, offering a menu of exclusive treatments drawn directly from their Paris flagships.
The space also has a beauty concierge and two interactive masterclass rooms for events in the store.
Urban Retreat, the store’s former beauty services offering, partnered with the department store 15 years. However, in June 2019 it opened up its first standalone salon, located nearby Harrods on Hans Crescent.
The new beauty concept is separate from the Hair and Beauty Salon located on the fifth floor and will focus on the store’s luxury brands. The opening forms the third and final phase of its beauty revamp, which included the refurbishment of its Beauty Halls in 2019.
The news follows Harrods’ announcement that it will be launching a 23,000sq ft beauty store, H Beauty, which will be opening in Essex this spring. There are also plans for a second store to open in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
