New Thai Spa opens at Spain’s Finca Cortesin

The new treatment rooms are launching in conjunction with a new Asian-inspired treatment menu, drawing on ancient healing techniques from the region.

Treatments on the Thai Spa menu include the Therapeutic Thai, massage, focused on balancing the body by working on central energy lines; the Matahari Face Massage, which sees warm coconut oil poured on the face and head, to nurture the skin and for relaxing effect; and a Shiatsu pressure point massage.

The new Asian treatments also include the Herbal Pouch & Oriental Massage to soothe aches and pains and boost circulation; the Indian Head Massage, to help treat headaches and neck and back pain; and the Ayurvedic Full Body Massage, to relax and detox the body.

Among the amenities at the Finca Cortesin spa are a 25m saltwater swimming pool, a snow cabin and three thermal suites: one for men, one for women, and one unisex. Features in the thermal suites include saunas, Turkish baths and plunge pools and the hotel’s wellness facilities also includes a fitness centre.
