Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain opens in China
The first Six Senses resort in China, the Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain has opened to guests.
The resort, situated in the Sichuan province in southwestern China, features 113 guest rooms, suites and villas.
Among the facilities at the resort is a 1,710sq m Six Senses Spa, set to open in August. The spa will comprise 10 treatment rooms, with garden and waterfall views.
Treatments on the spa menu will include cupping and reflexology, as well as a series of rituals, massages and other treatments.
Among the signature experiences will be the Shen ritual, incorporating a jade stone facial, a private yoga or tai chi lesson, a herbal bath and a Tui Na body treatment.
Meanwhile, the restorative Jing ritual includes cupping, acupuncture, Tui Na and a traditional Chinese medicine consultation.
Among the food and beverage options at the resort are all-day restaurant Farm2Fork, Thai restaurant Sala Thai and 28Zodiac, serving Chinese cuisine – among others.
