New £1.25m Wave Garden Spa opening in Snowdonia in March 2021

The new £1.25m Wave Garden Spa in Snowdonia, North Wales, will open its doors on March 26, 2021, and is set to make the area one of the UK’s hottest wellness destinations.

Located within the grounds of the Adventure Parc Snowdonia in Conwy Valley, the 650sq m luxury spa will make the most of its beautiful surroundings, with guests able to relax as they enjoy the views of the surf lagoon, mountains and forests (as can be seen in these first images of the spa).

Clients will also be able to bathe in pools fed with chemical-free water and enjoy the heated sensory spa garden. The outdoor space will feature a warm hydrotherapy pool, loungers, relaxation pods, fire pits, a wooden barrel sauna, herb garden and a yoga studio.

Inside there will be a vitality waterfall pool, steam room and Himalayan sault sauna, all of which have views out across the surf lagoon to the mountains and forests. The site is also the only spa in North Wales where clients can have a complete immersion in the steam-based cleansing and purifying rituals of a traditional Hammam.

The spa’s product houses will include marine skincare brand Thalgo and Welsh brand Tribe517, which is made with locally sourced ingredients.

“The Wave Garden Spa is the exciting next step in our plans for Adventure Parc Snowdonia to be a destination for wellbeing, incorporating exhilarating activities and adventures with the finest facilities to de-stress, relax and rejuvenate,” said Andy Ainscough, Adventure Parc Snowdonia’s managing director.

“Our family-owned business has been built on our passion for the great outdoors, and our new spa fully embraces this with outstanding views, the sound of rolling waves and a stunning spa garden.”

Danni Hitchen, Adventure Parc Snowdonia director, added: “2020 has highlighted how important wellness is to us all, so along with the facilities, we’ve incorporated some incredible therapies and treatments including our hammam experience, which will be a real treat for our guests. We can’t wait to welcome our first guests in March next year.”
